Task
Period 1
The exam will have a section on identifying persuasive techniques, so I would like you to use the first part of this lesson to review the work we did on persuasive techniques in term one when we loked at the dancing bears pamphlet.
- Download this list of persuasive techniques and create and 10 question multiple choice test.
- Swap your test with another student and see how many questions you can get right.
- Use the list you have download as your revision sheet for the exam.
Period 2
The other section of the exam will be a text essay on PP. Use this period to create a revision sheet that contains the following:
- What your plan should contain: keywords, questions, higher order questions, etc and function of each section
- Summary of the difference between an introduction and conclusion
- Notes on two or three themes in the novel
- Three of four quotes that can be used as evidence for multiple themes
We will discuss these things on Monday.
